Wushu Instructors

Wushu Instructors:   Classes are taught by Master Yu(喻绍文) and Master Gao  (高佳敏), and coaches from U.S. Wushu Center, which was originally founded in Portland by Master Yu, shaowen in 1992.  He was joined later by Master Gao, jiamin, a 32 gold medalist in international competition.  Master Yu and Master Gao both grew up in China and trained to become professional Wushu athletes from very young age.  They have been offering in-depth, professional training in Chinese Martial Arts (Wushu, Kung Fu, Tai Chi and Qigong) for 30 years in Portland.    

 

 

 

 

Xiaoxin Xie Shifu:
At the age of 8, he entered Beijing Shaolin Wushu Sc
hool to practice Wushu professionally. During the school, he participated in many large-scale domestic and foreign performances such as China Central Television and Beijing Television Station.
In 2008, he entered the National Traditional Sports Department of the Capital Institute of Physical Education and studied th
e theory and techniques of professional Wushu.  During the school period, he was rated as an outstanding student for many years and won various honors such as national scholarships.
After graduating from college in 2012, he was invited by the U.S.Wushu  Center to participate in the Portland Rose Festival tour.  After nearly four years of professional teaching training by Master Shaowen Yu (喻绍文) and Master Jiamin Gao (高佳敏), he has been assisting the teaching work of the U.S. Wushu Center since 2016. Together with the coaches of the U.S  Wushu Center Master  Jiamin Gao, Master  Shaowen Yu and with other coaches team,  Together they have produced multiple World Champions, Pan American Champions and National Champions.

 

Xintuo Zhang Shifu, a Chinese national first-class athlete, started to practice Wushu at the age of 10, has 15 years of professional Wushutraining, and 10 years of Wushu teaching experience. He successively studied Wushu systematically in Henan Shaolin Temple Tagou Wushu School and Henan Provincial Taijiquan Professional Team. He graduated from Zhengzhou University with a master’s degree. After graduation, he successively taught in Songshan Shaolin Wushu College and Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. During his teaching period, he led the school Wushu team to participate in the Henan Provincial College Student Wushu Championships and won the championship and runner-up in many events and was rated as an excellent Wushucoach in Henan Province. He once accompanied the Chinese education delegation to Russia, Britain, Ireland, Italy, Sweden, Iceland, New Zealand and other countries for performances and cultural exchanges.

Some results of Wushu professional competitions:

In 2012, he won the first place in Men’s Chen Style Taijiquan and the second place in Shaolin Sword in the Ninth International Shaolin Wushu Festival

In 2014, Henan Provincial College Students Wushu Championship won the first place in Chen-style Taijiquan.

In 2015, he won the sixth place in Men’s Chen Style Taijiquan in the China National Wushu Routine Championship

In 2018, he won the first place in Men’s Taijiquan, Taijijian and Baguazhang at the California International Wushu Championships in the United States, and the individual all-around champion.

Since 2016, he has served as the judge of the US International Wushu Competition for many times.
