At Oregon Hope Chinese School, we provide a variety of Chinese language and culture learning opportunities. In fact, our goal is to meet everyone\u2019s educational needs. *** Due to the COVID-19 virus, all students have the option of taking online classes<\/a>. ***<\/p>\n

Oregon Hope Chinese School Programs include:<\/h2>\n

Preschool & Kindergarten \u5b66\u524d\u73ed&\u5e7c\u513f\u56ed<\/a> (Mondays to Fridays 8:00am to 6:00pm) OHCS Preschool and Kindergarten is a Montessori inspired and state licensed Chinese immersion program for children 2.5-6 years old.<\/p>\n

After School Program \u4e2d\u6587\u8bfe\u540e\u73ed<\/a> (Monday to Fridays 3:30pm to 5:30pm) We align our OHCS after-school Mandarin program with our OHCS Saturday program curriculum. More importantly, our teachers will help your child work on their daily practice. We teach your child to build their Mandarin skills so they can speak, listen, write, and read.\u00a0 OHCS also provides\u00a0 Afterschool Mandarin Chinese Enrichment Program at Jacob Wismer Elementary School<\/a><\/p>\n

Saturday School \u5468\u516d\u4e2d\u6587\u5b66\u6821<\/a>\u00a0(Saturdays 9:00am to 12:00pm)\u00a0OHCS Saturday School has more than twenty different classes. Your child can choose between 14 different levels of Mandarin classes, Chinese painting, Chinese Calligraphy, Wu Shu Kung Fu (martial art), Go, Adult Dance, Adult Chinese, and the SAT II Chinese program. We have knowledgeable and experienced native Chinese speakers to teach your child.<\/p>\n

Summer Camp \u590f\u4ee4\u8425<\/a> (Ten weeks of camps from middle June to end of the Aug) Enroll your child in our OHCS summer camp. Your child will learn in an open and friendly environment. In fact, we use a variety of themes to improve your child’s Chinese-language skills. Most importantly, campers will develop confidence in their language skills. In addition, they will expand their knowledge and understanding of Chinese culture.<\/p>\n

Mandarin Story Time \u6545\u4e8b\u4f1a<\/a> (Second Friday of each month 10:30am to 11:00am) Come join us at the Cedar Mill Community Library.<\/p>\n
